NetID access to library resources is determined by your current affiliation with Rutgers. Some patrons are limited to in-library access only. These patrons may access library electronic resources via a campus internet connection or from one of the guest computer terminals in the libraries. To register to access library resources at a guest computer terminal, please use our Ask A Librarian service or visit any library circulation desk.

Alumni, Retired Faculty and Staff, and Students Enrolled in Noncredit Courses (such as Senior Auditors) do not have remote access to library resources. These groups have in-library access.

Visiting Scholars/Faculty, RBHS Volunteer Faculty, and Recently Hired Faculty and Staff are eligible for remote access to library resources. If you are in one of these groups and do not currently have remote access, please request access via the Ask a Librarian service.

Students Enrolled in Credit-bearing Courses, Faculty (Current and Emeritus), and Staff are all eligible for remote access. If you are in one of these groups and are having trouble with remote accesss, view these troubleshooting tips.
