Q. How do I obtain textbooks? Can I borrow textbooks from the library?

Textbooks can be purchased from the bookstores on each campus:

New Brunswick 

Newark 

Camden 

Rutgers University Libraries' holdings include some textbooks, but we cannot provide every textbook for every class. Textbooks held by Rutgers may be found in QuickSearch.

Unfortunately, we can't facilitate interlibrary loan requests for textbooks and related course materials. Because they are generally used as course reserves at their respective institutions, these items are not eligible for loan to other libraries.
