Materials borrowed from the Rutgers University Libraries' collections automatically renew at the end of each semester for continuing students, faculty, and current staff.

Items borrowed from non-Rutgers libraries and lost materials will be charged a $102 replacement fee. The fee will be automatically waived upon the return of the item.

Equipment and reserve items do not auto-renew and may accrue overdue fees if not returned on time.

The Libraries do not block graduation or withhold transcripts for outstanding materials or fines. Please Ask A Librarian if you have any questions about fines or fees on your account.

Should you need to pay a fine or fee, the Libraries accept payment by cash or personal check.

Cash payments may be made in person at any library circulation desk.
