The libraries do offer a free personal home delivery service, but there are some limitations:

  • Only printed/physical books currently available to borrow are eligible for shipment. We're not able to mail audiovisual resources at this time.
  • Physical books that are also available in digital formats are excluded from this service.
  • Law library resources are not available for home delivery but may be requested for pickup at another Rutgers library location.
  • The delivery address must be residential, off-campus, and located in the United States.
  • P.O. boxes and campus mailboxes do not qualify for Personal Delivery

Users can request qualified items by clicking the "request delivery" button that appears after logging in to QuickSearch as a faculty, staff member, or student. The library locations drop-down will appear first and the personal delivery to home address option is at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
