Theses and dissertations from colleges and universities worldwide are available in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database. To search only dissertations and theses completed at Rutgers, use the Dissertations & Theses @ Rutgers University database.

These databases include the full text of recent dissertations and theses; for earlier years, it typically contains only indexing or indexing and abstracts. Remote access to these databases is restricted to current Rutgers students, faculty, staff, and emeriti, but guests can access them from on-campus computer labs.

Many recent Rutgers theses and dissertations are freely available in Rutgers' institutional repository, RUCore.

Older dissertations by Rutgers graduates are held in print and may be found using QuickSearch . After running a search, to restrict your results to physical dissertations, use the filters to select Resource Type: Dissertation and Limit To: Held by Library. Physical dissertations can be viewed in person at the libraries or requested from an affiliate library via interlibrary loan.
